The Vaishnava "path of grace" founded by Vallabhacharya around 1500, teaching Shuddhadvaita and loving service of Shrinathji (Krishna).
Overview
Pushti means nourishment by divine grace. Devotees serve Krishna in a household mode called seva, rather than through renunciation.
History
After Vallabhacharya the tradition was led by his son Vitthalnath (Gusainji), whose descendants head the havelis. The Ashtachhap poets, including Surdas, composed its devotional songs.
Practice
Eight daily darshans with seasonal offerings, music (haveli sangeet) and festivals in the haveli temples.
